One common problem in Odoo Discuss is that after sending an important message, there's no way to know who has actually read it. Managers often have to ask people individually or send follow-up messages just to confirm everyone has seen the update.

The module adds an Info button to every message you send. Clicking it opens a side panel where you can see:

  • The percentage of people who have read your message with a live progress bar.
  • A Read section showing who has read the message and the exact time they read it.
  • A Received section showing who has received the message but hasn't read it yet.

The panel updates automatically in real time, so you always have the latest read status without refreshing the page.
